Bring the whole family to celebrate Archives Week at The Rooms. See archival treasures in the Reference Room; talk to our staff about our genealogy collections; check out archival films; take a "Behind the Scenes" vault tour; view archival exhibitions; or join us for an interpreted guided tour of Beaumont-Hamel and The Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at war and at Home 1914 - 1949. We have activities for the kids too - grab a magnifying glass and check out the map challenge, solve a jigsaw puzzle, or create your own handprint family tree.

Coffee & Culture

Presented and created by Sharing Our Cultures, 'Imagine SPACE' (Support Positive Action Collaboration and Experiences) is a documentary that shares the first-hand accounts of the lived experience of young people in the province.

The film was created in an effort to stimulate conversations and encourage the community to take concrete actions towards embracing cultural diversity, and get rid of racism and discrimination. The screening will be followed by a moderated panel discussion.
