Join hosts, Paula Gale and Todd O’Brien for a special live audience radio event celebrating 75 years of The Broadcast — the longest-running daily radio show in Canada.
Former hosts, including Jim Wellman and Jim Winter, along with special guests will join to reflect on the program’s remarkable history, deep connection to audiences across Newfoundland and Labrador, and the evolution from a show about fisheries to one that also explores ocean health and the culture of the people who live and work alongside it.
This milestone anniversary episode is a rare opportunity to experience The Broadcast behind the scenes and be part of a historic moment in Canadian radio. This event will be recorded and made available for broadcast later.
Special musical performances will be provided by Jim Payne and Fergus O’Byrne.
This is a free event but a ticket is reqiured. Please reserve your tickets online or by calling 709-757-8090
