Workshop

Eldred Allen is a photographer from Rigolet, Nunatsiavut, NL, whose images have been featured in online exhibitions and in galleries across Canada.

His 2 hour Portrait Photography workshop begins with a guided walk through of his current exhibition, Eldred Allen: Resemblance, an exhibit that captures the importance of Elders in the community.

The workshop will guide participants through the process of setting up a small portrait studio at home utilizing studio lights, reviewing techniques to capture portraits, and demonstrating how small changes to your light or model can affect the final images.

Participants are welcome to bring along their cameras as part of a Q&A session.

Pre-registration is required. Limited seats are available. The cost is $40.25 per person and includes a coffee break. 10% Discount for members.

To register, please contact Visitor Services at 757-8090. For more information on the workshop schedule and content, please contact Joy Barfoot via email joybarfoot@therooms.ca
