The world-class Verona Quartet fill The Rooms with glorious music in this concert specially tailored for a younger audience. Listeners of all ages are invited to experience the sights and sounds of a classical string quartet - with plenty of room to tap their feet, and move to the beat!

The Tuckamore Festival takes its name from the tuckamore tree, an evergreen unique to Newfoundland and Labrador and celebrated for its tenacity, strength and special beauty. Since 2001, the festival has brought the very best of chamber music to Newfoundland and Labrador, through performances from world renowned musicians, workshops, masterclasses and mentorship opportunities for talented young artists.

Embark on a monthly musical journey with your little one at the Infant Sensory Music Group, hosted by Certified Music Therapist Renée White. Join us in exploring the unique art exhibitions at The Rooms, setting the stage for a sensory-rich experience that enhances your infant's development.

Who's invited:
Newborns to 9 month olds and their caregivers. (This program is designed for younger babies; if your baby is on the move, check out our other TOTS programs.)

Monthly sessions:
Immerse yourselves in a new art exhibition each month, creating a dynamic and ever-evolving backdrop for your infant's sensory exploration.

About Ms. Renée:
Renée White, certified music therapist and University of Windsor Honors Bachelor of Music Therapy graduate, brings her expertise to create a warm and welcoming environment. As "Ms. Renée," she shares her passion for using music as a tool for connection and growth.

Peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador

Stroll across land and sea, and through time, to meet the peoples who have made Newfoundland and Labrador home for the past 9,000 years.

Each tour is approximately 30 – 40 minutes and is included in the cost of admission. Free for Rooms members.

Ramah chert has stood out in the archaeological record for over a century for its pivotal role in stone tool making. Join Provincial Archaeologist, Jamie Brake as he shares what we have learned from this stone, and the new questions it raises on the long and complex history of Newfoundland and Labrador.
