Special Presentation & Reception with Sarah Milroy, Curator of Generations: The Sobey Family and Canadian Art

Join Sarah Milroy for a curatorial talk about the exhibition Generations: The Sobey Family and Canadian Art. The exhibition is built around unexpected pairings and submerged histories, told through this extraordinary gathering of more than 100 works — from 19th-century settler artists through to the Quebec Impressionists and Ontario’s Group of Seven, Canadian luminaries like Emily Carr, David Milne and William Kurelek, and onward to the leading Indigenous artists of today. Works by Kent Monkman and Cornelius Krieghoff come face to face at last in this once-in-a-lifetime show! Then join us afterwards to continue the conversation in the new Harbour view Room for tea, coffee & refreshments
