Generations: The Sobey Family and Canadian Art tells the story of one family’s visionary engagement with Canadian and Indigenous art.
Join Mireille Eagan, Curator of Contemporary Art, as she gives a tour of this once in a lifetime exhibition.

Nature Nook is a monthly hands-on session to interact with real specimens like seal pelts, skulls, whale baleen, antlers, moose fur, and a variety of rocks and minerals. Join us to learn more about nature and ask our volunteers all your questions about Newfoundland and Labrador’s wildlife!

Step into a world of family fun at The Rooms! Enjoy an afternoon of creativity and connection for the whole family.
Take inspiration from the fantastical creatures, colours, and patterns in Toby Rabinowitz “A World Within A World”, and create your own magical creature! Decorate a cheerful horse to carry you through the winter with bright colours and imagination.

Stroll across land and sea, and through time, to meet the peoples who have made Newfoundland and Labrador home for the past 9,000 years.
Each tour is approximately 30 – 40 minutes and is included in the cost of admission. Free for Rooms members.
