Documentary 'Imagine SPACE' (Support Positive Action Collaboration and Experiences)

In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Sharing Our Cultures invites you to a screening of its documentary 'Imagine SPACE' followed by a panel discussion. Hear young people share their lived experiences to stimulate conversations and engage the community to fight against racism and discrimination.

En reconnaissance de la journée Internationale pour l'élimination de la discrimination raciale, Sharing Our Cultures vous invite à une projection de son documentaire 'Imagine SPACE' suivi d'une discussion avec un panel. Écoutez des jeunes partager leurs expériences vécues afin de stimuler les conversations et d'aider la communauté à lutter contre les racisme et la discrimination.

Peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador

Stroll across land and sea, and through time, to meet the peoples who have made Newfoundland and Labrador home for the past 9,000 years.

Join us each day for an interpretive guided tour in one of our galleries. From the story of the Cod fishery to visiting a current art exhibition to a Family Rainbow tour, there is something for everyone. 

Each tour is approximately 30 – 40 minutes and is included in the cost of admission. Free for Rooms members.

Shirley Moorhouse – EYES

Join us for a guided tour of Shirley Moorhouse's exhibition - EYES, which features her innovative artworks spanning 30 years. Moorhouse is a respected member of the Canadian art community and renowned for her textiles-based wall hangings. Using embroidery, beading, caribou hide, and other objects on black wool stroud, Moorhouse tells stories and delves deeply into complex themes, inviting viewers "to reflect, to dream, and to celebrate the beauties and mysteries of life".
