If you have been in our Connections gallery, you have probably seen the polar bear, the giant squid, the whale bones, and fossils. Have you ever wondered where the rest of our natural history collection is stored? How the specimens are preserved? Who takes care of it all?

Join us to find out what goes on behind the scenes at our Natural History Facility on Parade Street from a special presentation with our Natural History Collections Manager, Nathalie Djan-Chekar, who can answer all your questions and more!

In Beaumont-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou exhibition find out about the impacts of the First World War on Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and how events overseas dramatically altered our lives at home.
