Please join us for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Natural History Facility with Collections Manager, Nathalie Djan-Chekar. Nathalie will share a glimpse into the province’s vast collection of natural history specimens from sea birds to sea urchins.

Walking and standing on concrete is part of this tour. Please wear appropriate footwear and outside clothing as the facility is located on Parade Street. Meet at the front desk of The Rooms for this tour. 

Capacity is limited, registration is required.This is a Members Only tour.

For centuries, fishing for cod has played a vital role in the lives of the peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador. Generations of fishing men, women and children made use of the land and sea to sustain them and spent their lives “making fish”.

Offered Wednesdays and Saturdays 10:30 am. Included in the cost of admission.

In Beaumont-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou exhibition find out about the impacts of the First World War on Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and how events overseas dramatically altered our lives at home.
