The Rooms is a place of stories, a place to gather, and a place of community. It is also a place where Ashley found peace and solace in the months after her sexual assault.

Eleven years later, during Mental Health Awareness Month, Ashley returns to The Rooms to share her journey towards reframing September 7, 2012 - a day that for too long has been synonymous with her traumatic experience.

In her documentary, September 7, 2012, Ashley connects with a group of strangers to hear their stories and to share hers, in hopes that their experiences combined can help effect change within.

Through her work at The Journey Project, Ashley has coordinated Visions of Justice: a photo journey. The film adaptation of this photography exhibit will be celebrated and screened alongside September 7, 2012 at this event.

Audience Advisory: Mature subject matter. Content deals with experiences of sexual assault.
