Meet the Author: Ted Rowe

Join author Ted Rowe as he discusses his latest captivating book, Mischief in High Places: The Life and Times of Sir Richard Squires. Delve into the spectacular career and personal life of the man who, in 1919, was elected Prime Minister of Newfoundland. This work focus’ on his political triumphs, scandals, and the erosion of democracy.

About the Author
Ted Rowe grew up in Heart’s Content, NL. He is a graduate of Memorial University, Dalhousie University, and the University of Western Ontario. After teaching at Memorial in the 1970s, he had a thirty-year career in real estate and has been active in a number of community organizations. Along the way he and his wife Maureen raised a family of five sons. The Greatest Newfoundlander was shortlisted for the Shaughnessy Cohen award for political writing by the Writer’s Trust of Canada in 2018.
