Special Workshop with m'lk

Date: Jun 25
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Where: Art Gallery Classroom

m'lk is a South African-based collective with a background in architecture and landscape architecture. This facilitated workshop encourages participants to reflect and explore the relationships between our material worlds and the culture that sometimes precede it, sometimes is it, and other times is impacted by it. Participants are invited to bring an object that is significant to them. During the workshop, participants will learn how to use a scanning app to record their object and story so that it can be added to Dintho, a collective archive of material culture and artistic practice which involves digital scanning, storytelling and sharing of personal relationships as part of collective cultural practice. More about m’lk: m.lk (mlkshake.com)

m’lk is currently completing a residency at Eastern Edge Gallery. Residencies › Eastern Edge Gallery
