Shim Sham Shimmy Flashmob Finale

Date: Sep 26
5:15 pm - 5:30 pm
Where: Mug Up Level 2

Drop in for the grand finale Shim Sham Shimmy — a joyful, high-energy series of flashmob performances that brings together dancers from across St. John’s!

After a series of community workshops and surprise flashmob appearances around the city, we’re culminating the celebration with one final, showstopping Shim Sham — come join the fun!

The Shim Sham is a classic jazz line dance with deep roots in swing and tap traditions. Over 100 years old, it’s a symbol of rhythm, connection, and community across generations of dancers. With its playful steps and infectious energy, it's made to be danced together — on the street, in the studio, or anywhere the music finds you.

This is a free drop in event.

In partnership with Neighbourhood Dance Works as part of the Festival of Dance.
