"Cameo" - Festival of New Dance

Date: Sep 28
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Where: Theatre

Cameo is a quarterly mixed program that champions movement-based work in all its forms. Launched in April 2024 and produced by Andrya Duff, the series has since featured over 19 local creators and 30 dancers across 16 genres. Like an open mic for comedians or a public reading for playwrights, Cameo offers movement artists a space to test ideas, share 5-min works-in-progress, and explore without the pressure of polished production or financial risk. Centering artists and experimentation, Cameo invites audiences to witness movement in all stages of its evolution.

Presented by the Festival of New Dance in collaboration with The Rooms, this installment of Cameo reflects the series’ evolving practice as 2025 artist-in-residence with Untellable Movement Theatre.

Cost: $5 per person plus HST. Get your tickets online or by calling (709)757-8090.
