Festival of New Dance
Following a short in situ creation residency, Cirque’letics brings vertical dance to the architectural marvel of The Rooms. Rigging into the soaring triangle of columns and beams in our atrium, they present a brand-new site-specific work—fresh, raw, and play filled. This in situ performance invites audiences to experience dance and architecture from a new angle, literally and figuratively. Come witness bodies in motion suspended in space—where dance meets architecture, risk, and wonder.
Performances at 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm.
This is a free, drop-in program!
About the performers:
Cirque’letics—St. John’s own circus school, training ground, and performance company—takes dance to new heights with a series of gravity-defying vertical dance performances. Building on five years of vertical dance exploration and a new partnership with Neighbourhood Dance Works, Cirque’letics is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in aerial movement.
Presented in partnership with the 2025 Festival of New Dance
